Bryan is a founding member and historian of Sapphire and the administrator of the Sapphire Wiki.

Biography

Bryan started gaming with the Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP followed by the Nintendo DS, mostly playing games from the Pokémon series. He grew up watching cartoons on television, which also included Japanese anime like Naruto, One Piece, Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! He began PC gaming in 2008 with RuneScape, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, and Counter-Strike: Source.

In 2010, he joined a massive online gaming community which led him to play mainstream titles such as Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and the Battlefield series. Emanuel introduced him to StarCraft II, Diablo II and later Minecraft. Their activities on Minecraft would eventually lead to the founding of Sapphire.

Bryan met Jerry in middle school and then graduated from high school together with Emanuel, Jerry, Jason, and Komal.

Despite having been a vocal advocate for a "RuneScape 2007 server" as far back as 2010, it was not until 2018 that he started playing Old School RuneScape in earnest.

In the early 2020s, Bryan became active on "anime Twitter", joining a community centered on an emerging personality. It was during this time he played games such as Genshin Impact and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
