At this time, the group's memes somewhat revolved around '''''That '70s Show'''''. In the show, there was a Circle in which, under the influence of marijuana, the characters conceived many "great" ideas. This concept of a circle of friends [who were "high"] was integrated into Sapphire, and [[Bryan]] insisted that the group should adopt the name "'''''The Circle'''''".

As a result of '''''That '70s Show''''' being essentially a ''Bible'' for the group, it set the foundation for modern Sapphire culture to develop. From this show, and other minor factors, 420 culture became popular in the group. It is also possible that certain aspects in the show is the ancestor of the modern "[[DIK]]" in Sapphire.
