Cydax is one of the original six people who are considered the founders of Sapphire.

History

Nearly a year after Bryan and t3sla began playing on the notorious Armitunes server, the basic foundation of the group had formed: Bryan, t3sla, along with friends Funky, Slar3xSpr33, Ole Martin Fiska, Sarim, Mike. While the group would interact in-game via text, only a few members knew each other well enough to talk over Skype. Eventually, a regular call between Bryan, Slar, Funky, Mike, and t3sla was established while Cydax and Sarim had their own because of the language barrier and the thought of awkwardness.

The official formation, which occurred in September of 2011, which is when Sarim decided to call Bryan on skype. I remember it very clearly, as he kept saying "what could go wrong, how awkward could it be, rofl just for lulz". The initiative, pushed by Sarim, who ironically stayed rather quiet when things kicked off, went rather well, I got to know Bryan, who shortly after started to invite other people. From here, Bryan, t3sla, Slar, Cydax, Funky, and Mike became the leaders of Sapphire and were from then on known as the Founders.
