t3sla, who does not like to go by his real name, is a founding and key member of Sapphire. t3sla invested into Java development skills at a rather early age. t3sla plays a key role in Pre-Sapphire history. A small group of rebels from a Minecraft server called ArmiTunes, Bryan, Funky, Slar, and Mike all joined in to temporarily leave ArmiTunes. It was too precious to destroy. They went on a mission, to "redecorate" as many Minecraft servers as possible. The group got away with using a public modified minecraft client for a while, even though it was highly detectable. Eventually, a young t3sla steps in to modify the client to his own liking. This modified version became project REDEMPTION, meanwhile the group was banned entirely from a server. The group took REDEMPTION and flew with their new custom capes into a server that is closely associated with the one they were banished from. That server never saw the light of day ever again. With a desperate lust for expansion, the group demanded updates from t3sla. After consulting with Bryan, the name Sapphire was conceived and the first snapshot of the client version 0.1 was released. This day, today known as Sapphire's birthday, is remembered; however what happened on that day is not. It is for the sake of reputation, that it is put behind, but also honored in a way.

• t3sla is also a first generation American having Romanian parents, just like Bryan.

• t3sla never spoke a word to the group until about summer of 2012. He just worked diligently.
