The Circle, short for the Circlejerk, also called the group, is the name for the people of Sapphire.

Etymology
The Circle name comes from the sitcom, That '70s Show, which frequently depicted a circle of friends that smoked cannabis. This became a meme in Sapphire, but also due to outside (unknown) influences created a spin-off meme the circlejerk.
